The Institute of Hotel Management – Ashok (formerly AIH&TM) is the Human Resource Development Division of the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) and a premier Hotel Management Institute. Established to cater internal learning and development requirements of the organization. The institute has evolved into a Strategic Business Unit undertaking professional education and training assignments in hospitality management.
With over five decades of expertise, IHM Ashok has built a strong reputation for excellence in hospitality training and skill development. The institute offers specialized programs in Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Front Office Operations, and Housekeeping Management. Supported by a team of Industry professionals, experienced and dedicated faculty, IHM Ashok delivers industry-oriented, high-quality training that equips students with practical skills aligned with evolving hospitality trends.
The institute offers its flagship B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration in collaboration with the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida, and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. It also conducts Diploma courses in Food Production Management and Bakery & Confectionery in association with the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
IHM Ashok operates as a premier central IHM in the NCHMCT framework and has produced trailblazing Alumni who work in executive positions in India & Abroad.
