The Human Resource Development Division of India, was established in 1971 at Hotel Samrat, The Centre of Excellence, New Delhi. The institute was initially created for all learning & development opportunity of organisations that serves as the custodians of authentic Indian hospitality. AIH&TM soon transitioned into a Strategic Business Unit, undertaking education and training assignments in hospitality management.
