Aligned with the Prime Minister's 'Clean India Campaign', India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (ITDC) the hospitality major under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism observed Swachhta Pakhwada with an objective to spread awareness about importance of cleanliness. All the units under ITDC undertook various activities during this period such as cleanliness drive, slogan writing, painting competition etc. on the theme of clean India. The event started with 'Swachhta Pledge'. ITDC began observance of Swachhta Pakhwada-2021 starting September 16th, 2021 and will continue till 2nd October,2021. The event was joined by all the employees, children of the staff members (ITDC) and students of Ashok Institute of Hospitality &Tourism Management (AIH&TM).
