03 YEARS BACHELORS OF VOCATION IN FOOD PRODUCTION AND ONE YEAR DIPLOMA IN HOSPITALITY

India Tourism Development Corporation signed an memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Jamia Millia Islamia to jointly offer 03 year Bachelors of Vocation in Food Production and One year Diploma in Hospitality through Ashok Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management in the year 2018. First batch of B.Voc. Food Production and One year Diploma in Hospitality commenced in Jul 2018.

Salient features of B. Voc. course:-

• The B Voc programme has multiple exit and entry points. First, on completion of the first- two semesters (NSQF – Level 5) and second, on completion of first four semesters (NSQF-Level 6).
• If a candidate exits after level 5 s/he will be awarded a Diploma in Food Production.
• If a candidate exits after level 6 s/he will be awarded an Advanced Diploma in Food Production.

JMI will conduct admission test for admission to these programmes. JMI will enrol the students admitted to these programmes. The students so admitted would report to ITDC for the programme.

B.Voc. in Food Production (Self-Finance)

The tuition fees for B. Voc. Programme and Diploma in Hospitality will be divided into two equal parts. Initially, the tuition fee for B.Voc programme is pegged at Rs. 90,000/- in total.

2. DIPLOMA IN HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT (SELF-FINANCE)

Diploma in Hospitality Management (Self-Finance)

The tuition fee for Diploma in Hospitality is pegged at Rs. 60,000/- in total.
